Unodourised Gas Risk Assessment

HAZ  again have been approved under Section 628 of the Petroleum and Gas (Production and safety) ACT 2004 to carry out a risk analysis in relation to the use of fuel gas at an industrial installation without the prescribed odour under section 628(2) of the Act.

It is an offence under section 628 of the Act for a person to supply fuel gas to a consumer unless the gas has the prescribed odour or the supply is to an industrial installation with appropriate gas detectors and shut down systems and a risk analysis has been carried out by an appropriately qualified person showing the supply is safe.

The maximum penalty for this offence is 500 penalty units.

Along with the unodourised gas risk assessment HAZ can  provide designs, installations, commissioning, training and any guidance that you may require.
